Site Display Issues

This could be because you are using a browser which is not compatible with WordPress.

If you are using Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) we strongly encourage you switch to another browser. Why IE6 is bad:

  • Security – IE6 has a very bad track record when it comes to security issues. It’s just too easy for hackers to install malicious software on your system without you knowing it.
  • Standards – IE6 is the worst browser when it comes to supporting web standards (XHTML and CSS specifically which determine how web pages are displayed to users).
  • WordPress and IE6 are not friends. Because the standards are different (read above) the admin page does not always display properly.  And as you know, we do not support WP in IE6.

So what are your options?

We highly recommend Chrome or Mozilla Firefox – it’s a lot faster, more secure and spyware-free. The popup blocking provides increased security when browsing unfamiliar sites. It’s known for its superior download speed and user friendliness. It’ll even import your favorites automatically. And it’s free.

If for some reason Firefox doesn’t tickle your fancy you can go with Opera, or Safari.

To switch browsers download Mozilla Firefox here or contact the service desk and they will remotely install it for you.
