Video: EU Migration Policy and Recent Trends in the Mediterranean – Interview with Dr Michael Collyer

In this interview, Dr Michael Collyer, Senior Lecturer in Geography at the University of Sussex, discusses the evolution of European Union migration policy in the Mediterranean region, in light of the Arab Spring and the humanitarian crisis in Syria. He also examines the relationship between European and Canadian migration policy development.

The interview was recorded at the Policy Workshop: “Balancing Humanitarianism and Security: The European Union’s Responses to New Migration and Refugee Issues” held at Carleton University, Ottawa on January 10, 2014..
